
Lizette Fonseca was raised in Nogales, Sonora, Mexico, Fonseca has deep roots in the Hispanic culture and language, which also provides her clients with a well-developed ability and keen insight to merge the communication gaps that can arise between landlords and tenants of different cultures and backgrounds. Her strong financial and retail background, combined with her long-standing relationships and superior negotiation skills, makes her a valuable asset to clients. Her dedication and ability to take her clients from concept to store opening, continues to set Fonseca apart. Prior to joining De Rito Partners, Fonseca worked for a well-known financial institution where she was responsible for day-to-day profit gains and losses. During her tenure, she was responsible for opening three branch offices from the ground up. She also increased net sales in the collections department by 80 percent within eight months of opening a new branch for a regional check center operation. Previously, Fonseca was a restaurant owner and worked closely with a venture capitalist, where she increased sales by more than 40 percent, completely eliminated theft, dramatically improved customer service and increased customer loyalty. Her career also included being a top producer for a Fortune 500 company originating loans. She is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).
