Lisa McCarthy
Lisa McCarthy is President of the Home Fragrance Business Unit at Newell Brands, overseeing the Yankee Candle, WoodWick, and Chesapeake Bay candle brands. Prior to this role, Lisa was the Chief Financial Officer of the Home Fragrance Business Unit since 2012, where she led both the global finance and real estate functions. Lisa also led the Yankee Candle retail store business, comprised of more than 450 stores and she held a dual role as CFO for the eCommerce business in 2018. She began her career with The Yankee Candle Company, Inc. in 2004 and has held various leadership positions within finance including Director of Accounting and Vice President of Finance/Controller. During her tenure with Yankee Candle, she has managed through four different ownership structures and a combination of both public and private reporting requirements. Prior to joining Yankee Candle, Lisa worked in the audit practice of Deloitte concentrating on publicly held manufacturing and biotech clients in the Northeast. Lisa holds a Bachelor’s degree from Bryant University, a Master’s degree from the University of Connecticut and is a CPA.
