Leo Josephs has over 30 years experience in the real estate business in all aspects of the acquisition, financing, leasing, development and disposition of commercial real estate across multiple property types, including industrial, office, shopping centers, and multi-family residential properties. Upon entering the real estate industry in 1980, Leo recognized a void in the sourcing of OFF-MARKET institutional investment real estate. During the subsequent 35 years, Leo has sourced and closed in excess of $5 billion of institutional real estate. Leo’s background in accounting and auditing with Arthur Young (predecessor to Ernst & Young) offers a unique perspective on transacting commercial real estate. Leo was a Managing Director in the Capital Advisory Group of Edward S. Gordon (and its successor, Insignia/ESG). Leo has a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa. Leo speaks five languages namely English, Dutch, German, Afrikaans and Hebrew. Leo is a licensed Real Estate Broker in the states of New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania.
