Lela Jgerenaia

Lela joined SER in 2024 as a Principal with eleven years of experience in power, energy, clean fuels, and renewables. She is responsible for strategy, investment origination, execution, and portfolio management. Prior to joining SER, Lela was actively investing in sustainable infrastructure most recently at Carlyle and previously at Starwood Energy, where she was responsible for strategy formation, mergers and acquisitions, project development, and asset management. Prior to joining Starwood, Lela was at GE Capital where she specialized in mergers and acquisitions and asset management in thermal power and renewables sectors. Lela began her career in the power and energy industry at Bloomberg New Energy Finance, forecasting environmental commodity prices and the levelized cost of energy. Lela received a B.A. in philosophy and economics from Wellesley College, and an M.A. in Finance and Energy, Resources and Environment from Johns Hopkins University.
