ABOUT

Lee McKenna joined JLL in 2025 and serves as the Managing Director of Healthcare for Central and South Texas. Prior to joining JLL, Lee was with Stream Realty Partners for almost seven years as Managing Director leading the firm’s San Antonio healthcare team. Lee’s primary responsibilities include project leasing, development, investment sales and tenant representation. He brings with him over 12 years of healthcare industry experience with various roles in operations, finance, and strategy. Lee’s healthcare team represents almost 2 million square feet in more than 25 medical office buildings across the San Antonio market and surrounding communities. The portfolio consists of medical properties in every medical submarket in the area with ownership ranging from local physician owners to national private equity and publicly traded Real Estate Investment Trusts. Prior to joining Stream, Lee was VP of Operations for the San Antonio based startup, Ranger Health/FetchMD, a technology backed healthcare services platform. In addition, Lee served as Director of Strategic Initiatives at Tenet/Baptist Health System in San Antonio where he led projects in innovative bundled payment, managed the cardiovascular service line, and oversaw all inpatient transfers, admissions, and census management. Lee began his career in the United States Air Force as a health care administrator in the Medical Service Corps. After graduating from the United States Air Force Academy, Lee was stationed at Lackland Air Force Base where he served in various roles at Wilford Hall Medical Center. He was deployed to the Air Force Theater Hospital in Balad, Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom in late 2008/early 2009. He then moved to Chapel Hill, NC to complete a Masters Degree at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He finished his military career at the US Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, CO where he was the Chief Financial Officer for the Academy’s Ambulatory Surgery Center and Clinic. Lee was honorably discharged in August 2014 at the rank of Captain. Lee has served on multiple non-profit, service-related boards including Rotary Club of San Antonio (Treasurer), Project MEND (Board Chair), “commissioner” for the Alamo Heights Flag Football League, and is on the Hill Country Advisory Board for Texas Regional Bank. He currently serves on the St. Luke’s Episcopal School’s Board of Trustees as the Treasurer, the Finance Committee Chair, the Permanent Endowment Fund Board of Trustees and the Buildings and Grounds Committee.
