She brings more than 20 years of experience in planning and zoning, economic development, public policy, government relations, business development, and strategic communications. Prior to expanding her commercial real estate practice, Layla built a career advising developers, businesses, municipalities, and community stakeholders on complex land use, entitlement, development, and public affairs matters. She led business expansion efforts involving site selection, zoning, permitting, community outreach, marketing, and operational strategy, helping grow the organization from $7.5 million to $94 million in revenue and contributing to significant acquisitions and mergers. Today, Layla combines her real estate expertise with a unique background in land use, planning, zoning, economic development, and business operations to help investors, property owners, developers, and businesses identify opportunities, navigate challenges, and achieve their real estate goals. Her approach is rooted in strategic thinking, market knowledge, and a deep understanding of how public and private sector interests intersect in the built environment.
