Laurence Roberts is a Principal and Co-Founder of Arch Brokerage, Ltd., a full-service commercial real estate brokerage firm affiliated with Washington Square Partners (WSP). Working in collaboration with WSP, Mr. Roberts represents clients throughout the New York metropolitan area on complex real estate assignments, including projects requiring multiple discretionary public approvals. He also supports WSP’s retail leasing efforts across its equity development projects in the New York City market. REBNY 2015 Retail Deal of the Year Finalist Mr. Roberts specializes in advising clients on all aspects of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions and dispositions, development, new lease negotiations, lease terminations, recaptures, assignments, subleases, buyouts and renewals. He works closely with architects, attorneys, engineers, contractors and other third-party professionals to coordinate the transaction process, maintain continuity and help ensure timely execution and closing. Since 2003, Mr. Roberts has played an integral role in numerous successful leasing, acquisition, disposition and marketing assignments throughout the New York metropolitan area. His experience includes significant engagements involving River Plaza Shopping Center, One Jamaica Center, City Point, The Forward / Workmen’s Circle and Ferrari/Maserati of North America. Over the past 15 years, Mr. Roberts has led or participated in the acquisition, disposition and leasing of office and retail properties with an aggregate transaction value in excess of $700 million. Mr. Roberts represents a diverse range of clients across the financial services, accounting, legal, restaurant, food, nonprofit, education, jewelry, apparel, advertising, media, fitness and cultural sectors. Representative clients and assignments include The Mark Foundation, CBS, Mark Morris Dance Group, River Plaza Shopping Center, Ferrari/Maserati of North America, American Friends of the Jerusalem College of Technology, Kiwa Salon Group, Ebiquity, Components by John McCoy, Easton Hunt Capital Partners, Fabricant, Foragers Market, The Forward / Workmen’s Circle, Easton Capital Investment Group, City Point / Acadia Realty Trust and Thinkmap.
