ABOUT

Mr. Liss is focused on tenant representation for government clients and corporate accounts. In this role, Kurt is part of a team of JLL professionals who customize their service offering to public and private commercial real estate occupiers. A member of JLL’s Public Institutions group, Kurt shares best practices with his national team of government and university focused professionals. From a strategic perspective, Kurt provides insight to & assists his clients in developing creative solutions to their portfolio real estate challenges while implementing the mandates and initiatives that come from those strategic objectives. During his 24 years in the commercial real estate business, Mr. Liss’ transaction experience consists of nearly a thousand transactions valued at over a half a billion dollars. Kurt has extensive experience in sales and leasing of commercial properties including office, industrial, and retail buildings, land parcels and special purpose facilities. Examples of Kurt’s extensive background include consulting rapidly expanding corporations such as deploying a broad and extensive national sales office presence for an emerging technology company, a complex portfolio consolidation effort disposing of large and unique special-purpose facilities in diverse geographies for a public utility and reducing a telecommunications companies’ footprint by millions of square feet over a two-year period. Kurt has also consulted corporate occupiers who implemented full real estate portfolio management and outsourcing initiatives including lease administration, facility management, transaction and project management functions while having previously worked onsite within the CRE department of two unique clients. Kurt received a Bachelor of Science from the University of Colorado. He actively participates in CoreNet Global events and is working towards his MCR professional designation. While not spending time with his family, Kurt is an avid golfer and strong supporter of the Children’s Diabetes Foundation, DRIF and JDRF.
