King returned to Atlanta and his real estate career full time after receiving his Broker’s license in 1980, and after the sale of Buckhead Brokers, Inc., became Executive Vice President of Acquisition and Sales of Buckhead International, Inc. As Vice President, he specialized in the assemblage and acquisition of investment properties, commercial and development sites, including exclusively and successfully rezoning many properties in Gwinnett County, GA, which became the fastest growing county in the United States during that time. His assemblage record of the second largest mixed-use land acquisition in the county still stands. As sole broker of Georgia Investment International, Inc., and associate broker of RSE Realty, Inc., he continued his specialty of assemblage and acquisition, successfully rezoning over 35 properties in Gwinnett County and Oconee County alone. From 1988 to the present, King has closed in excess of $25 million yearly in sales. Additionally, King has acted as Managing Partner in many joint venture partnerships during recent years.
