ABOUT

Mr. Caudle joined Palmetto Commercial Real Estate in early 2007. Mr. Caudle is a native of Florence and has spent the last 30 years in private business. He began his professional career in the Truck Rental and Leasing Industry and eventually became the President of Florence Leasing Corporation, an Affiliate of the National Truck Leasing System where he served on the Board of Directors representing over 150 affiliate companies. He sold all of Florence Leasing Corporation’s locations in SC, NC, and Alabama to Rollins Leasing Corporation of Wilmington, Delaware. Following a one year commitment to Rollins, he started Labor Services Inc, a full service staffing firm. After 12 years, Kent merged Labor Services with DIVERSCO Integrated Services of Spartanburg, SC where he served as regional Vice President. He began investing in real estate and development in 1984 and currently is involved in numerous real estate partnerships. Mr. Caudle graduated from Southside High School and attended Francis Marion College majoring in business management. An active outdoorsman, Kent resides in Florence with his wife Carolyn. They have 2 married daughters and one married son. Kent has served on the board of trustees of The Kings Academy, and The Board of Trustees of Florence School District One. The Caudle family is a member of First Presbyterian Church. Kent has spent his entire life in Florence. He is also active in The Kiwanis Club of Florence and served for 9 years on the Florence County Economic Development Partnership board Kent is a former board of the Pee Dee Land Trust, and the Civic Center Commission. Kent is currently a member of The Florence County Council where he has served as Vice Chairman and Chairman of several various committees.
