South Boston and Halifax County have been home to me since 1997, when I moved here from Newport News, Virginia. After nearly three decades of living, working, and serving in this community, I am proud to call Southside Virginia home. I became a licensed Virginia REALTOR® in 2016 and have since completed more than $100 million in real estate sales across more than 900 transactions, helping buyers and sellers throughout South Boston, Halifax County, and the surrounding areas of Southside Virginia. Today, I work alongside my wife, Rhonda, as Team Buckley with Pointe Realty Group – South Boston. My real estate experience includes residential homes, land and acreage, farms and recreational properties, investment properties, and commercial real estate. Whether you're selling a longtime family property, buying your first home, relocating to the area, purchasing land, or looking for a commercial or investment opportunity, I believe you deserve a REALTOR® who knows the market, communicates with you, and is there from the beginning of the transaction through closing—and beyond. My connection to this area goes well beyond real estate. I believe that if you're going to call a community home, you should also be willing to invest your time in making it a better place. I currently serve on the Sentara Halifax Regional Hospital Advisory Board, the Board of Directors for the Halifax County Service Authority, the Board of Directors for Tri-River Habitat for Humanity, and as a Planning Commissioner for the Town of South Boston. I am also an active member of South Boston Rotary and the Halifax County Chamber of Commerce and serve on the committee for Tops Off for a Cause, an annual Jeep event benefiting the Halifax County Cancer Association. I am a graduate of Leadership Halifax and a Halifax County Tourism Ambassador, having completed Halifax County Tourism's I Am Tourism Ambassador program. I have also had the privilege of serving my profession through the Southern Piedmont Land & Lakes Association of REALTORS®, including previously serving as President and Treasurer, as well as serving on numerous committees. I am also a member of Virginia REALTORS® and the National Association of REALTORS®. For me, real estate is about more than buying and selling property. It's about relationships, trust, local knowledge, and taking care of people. I don't simply sell real estate here—I live here, serve here, and care about the future of the communities I represent.
