Kate Coxworth

In her role as Senior Managing Director within JLL’s Industrial Services Group, Kate directs her attention towards connecting industrial space users and owners within the Chicago region, with a particular emphasis on the western submarkets. She adeptly represents the interests of both tenants and owners across various aspects of industrial real estate, encompassing existing and under development facilities, as well as improved and unimproved land. Kate’s commitment to facilitating successful matches between clients and properties bolsters her reputation as a reliable and skilled professional in the industry. In 2020, Kate made a significant move to join JLL, following her fruitful achievements at a boutique real estate firm in the Fox Valley. Before entering the real estate industry, Kate established and managed a design and manufacturing company in Chicago, Illinois, for a span of nine years. This prior entrepreneurial experience equipped her with first-hand knowledge and a deep understanding of the time constraints, resource limitations, and challenges faced by business owners. Consequently, Kate possesses a unique and invaluable perspective that benefits both tenants and ownership. Throughout her career, she has successfully handled approximately $250 million worth of real estate dispositions, diligently representing both sellers and buyers in the dynamic Chicago market. In the past 24 months, Kate’s team has achieved +10M SF leased space, 1.7M SF sold or acquired industrial buildings, and +300 AC sold or acquired land. Kate is a proud graduate of Indiana University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree. In addition to her academic achievements, she actively contributes to the real estate community by serving on the board of AIRE (Association of Industrial Real Estate). Kate’s dedication and outstanding contributions to the industry were recognized when she was honored with the prestigious 2022 Broker of the Year award from the Greater Chicago Food Depository. This esteemed accolade underscores Kate’s exceptional skills, expertise, and commitment to making a positive impact in both the real estate sector and the local community.
