Karla Brown

Karla brings a background in water rights and water management to every transaction, and also enjoys representing buyers and sellers of rural real estate in Boulder County and the surrounding areas. Karla has an undergraduate degree in Political Science from Cornell University and a Masters of Science from Colorado State University. She is currently pursuing her Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation. Prior to joining The Colorado Group, Karla worked for Zadel Realty in Firestone, Colorado. In addition to her brokerage activities, Karla manages her own construction company, focusing on short-term real estate development turning distressed properties into affordable housing. Karla is an experienced entrepreneur, helping to launch a statewide non-profit organization, as well as her own marketing company. Previously, Karla was an environmental consultant for clients in the mining and petroleum industries.
