Karen Grubbe
As the Director of Human Resources, Karen is responsible for the strategic development and oversight of all Human Resources operations for Heritage Communities. She leads the development, implementation and management of programs that attract, motivate, develop and retain associates. Karen’s core focus is to ensure Heritage Communities continues to grow a culture where associates love what they do and live our core values of compassion, trust, respect and fun every day. Karen earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska-Omaha and holds the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification and SHRM-Senior Certified Professional (SCP) certification. She joined the Heritage Communities family in 2018. Karen has worked in the financial services and technology industries in Nebraska and Florida prior to joining Heritage Communities. Karen enjoys spending time with her family, the Omaha Symphony, running and baking for family and friends.
