Karan Mistry

Karan Mistry is an experienced commercial real estate professional with a background spanning institutional asset and portfolio management, capital markets, and real estate advisory. His experience includes work across hospitality, build-to-rent (BTR), multifamily, retail, and other commercial real estate sectors. Prior to joining eXp Commercial, Karan managed an equity and debt real estate portfolio exceeding $500 million in assets under management at CBRE, working with major banking institutions, private equity firms, and institutional clients. His investor-focused approach and exposure to multiple asset classes have developed a strong foundation in strategic planning, financial analysis and modeling, asset positioning, and complex transaction negotiation. Karan’s passion for hospitality and real estate began at an early age through the influence of his father and grandfather. His father, a civil engineer, real estate broker, and investor, and his grandfather, a hotelier, provided him with early exposure to both the operational and investment sides of the industry. Those experiences helped shape his understanding of real estate from an owner’s and investor’s perspective and continue to influence the way he advises clients today. Based in Midtown Atlanta, Karan brings a relationship-driven and analytical approach to commercial real estate, with a particular focus on hospitality investment sales. He is committed to helping owners and investors navigate transactions, identify opportunities, and maximize value through thoughtful strategy, market knowledge, and disciplined execution.
