I have over 20 years of progressive healthcare experience including practical, administrative, and executive management. Being an integral part of startup Medicare certified home health agency, I functioned as first referral coordinator as well as a field nurse. Later I led the agency through expansion into various Medicaid Waiver Programs making it one of the largest home and community based service provider in its region. I held several key executive management positions with MedSide Healthcare serving as Director of Nursing and Administrator. Each of these positions has placed me at the center of program planning, development, and implementation. Currently I am responsible for all aspects of that multi-service organization employing over 500 employees and providing services for Medicare, Medicaid, Private Duty, and Insurance clients. Below are some of the functions I performed providing clinical, operational, and personnel management of MedSide’s service organization: > I designed, developed, and implemented clinical policies, procedures and programs for the agency aligning them with the State and Federal regulations > I provide leadership in the planning and implementation of Nursing, Therapy, Adult Day Health, and Personal Care Services, ensuring quality care; promoting family centered care; developing and redesigning program operations in response to continuous performance and process improvement activities > I am responsible for overall function of the service delivery consistently ensuring adherence to the State and Federal laws guiding organization through licensure inspections, utilization reviews, ADR and RAC audits > I am proficient in formulating programs to bridge care from home health to long-term care and private duty environment, optimizing continuum of services My duties include daily operational management, as well as agency performance involving State and Federal regulations. I served as a liaison between clinical and business departments.
