The Kay family is woven into the fabric of Oregon by way of political office, the Salem Golf Club and notably the Thomas Kay Woolen Mill, an enterprise conceived in the late 1800s by his 4th-great-grandfather, Thomas B Kay. Later, this business evolved into what is now known as Pendleton Woolen Mills. Josh is married to wife Lillian and live in South Salem on an active Vineyard.
