Josh Jacobs joined the Marcus & Millichap team as First Vice President of Investments in the Summer of 2020. Formerly a Senior Director at Cushman and Wakefield’s Birmingham office, Josh has comprehensive transaction experience in each of Alabama’s major markets and throughout Northwest Florida, and has been recognized multiple times as a CoStar Power Broker Award Winner in recent years. Throughout his career in Multifamily Investment Sales, Josh has been involved in closing more than 250 transactions across multiple asset classes and locations which total over 50,000 apartments units and almost $4 billion in sales volume. Josh has successfully managed a wide variety of sales throughout Alabama’s primary and secondary markets, including several notable sales in Mobile, Montgomery, Huntsville, Birmingham, as well as numerous transactions across the Gulf States. In 2021, Jacobs was involved in 50+ transactions totaling in excess of $500 million in sales volume and was recognized as a M&M Chairman's Club honoree and National Achievement Award recipient. Josh resides in Homewood, Alabama with his wife and four young children.
