Joseph DeRosa

Joseph DeRosa joined CBRE in February 2018 as a Senior Vice President in the Midtown Manhattan office. He is responsible for advising and representing tenants and owners in the office and life science sectors. Joseph joined CBRE from Transwestern, where he was an integral part of expanding the team’s footprint within the life sciences industry in the New York City area, as well as select national markets. Prior to his time at Transwestern, Joseph was a Vice President at NorthMarq Capital, a national commercial real estate mortgage banking firm where he focused on structuring debt and equity placements for institutional owners and developers. During his tenure, he was responsible for sourcing, underwriting and performing due diligence on over $500M worth of debt and equity placements and serviced $3B out of the companies $42B mortgage servicing portfolio. At the onset of his commercial real estate career, Joseph was an Associate at Savills-Studley (formerly Studley, Inc.) where he advised a variety of institutions on their overall corporate real estate portfolio strategy. He was responsible for sourcing and servicing over 800,000 sq.-ft. of leasing transactions during his time at the company.
