Joseph Allegretti

Joe oversees leasing, operations, and asset management of approximately 45 shopping centers in the NYC metro and suburban areas and assets within Northern NJ. Before this role, he was a Senior Leasing Agent for our New York and Northern New Jersey portfolio. Before joining Regency, Joe was Vice President, Leasing with Urstadt Biddle Properties Inc. and spent 9+ years with them before joining Regency after the companies merged in 2023. Before that, Joe was Director of Leasing—NYC Metro at Subway Restaurants from 2005 to 2014, handling territories including NYC, The Bronx, Queens, Westchester, and Rockland Counties in New York. He assisted in the leasing and building of over 400 Subway locations after starting with the firm in 2002. Joe earned his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Connecticut. He volunteers on several boards, including as Vice President of a local association board, Mautucket by the Sea Association, in Wakefield, RI, Treasurer of the Somers NY Girls Youth Basketball Organization board, and member of the Somers NY Boys Youth Basketball Organization board. He enjoys spending time with his wife and three children. Joe is an avid sports fan, especially anything UConn Huskies and the New England Patriots. He also enjoys boating and fishing on the Rhode Island coastline and coaching youth basketball.
