Jorge Castro's entrepreneurial spirit was influenced by his upbringing in a family of restaurateurs. As a child, he worked in his family's restaurant, gaining firsthand experience and learning the value of hard work and dedication. Giving him a unique start in his future entrepreneurial endeavors, and a deep appreciation for the restaurant industry. In 2008, at age 22 Jorge opened his first restaurant in Longview, WA. He later joined forces with his sister, Betty, to form the Pearl West Restaurant Group. Together, Jorge and Betty have opened numerous restaurants across the West Coast, including Margarita Factory, DOSALAS, and DIOSA. With a focus on identifying promising locations, creating unique menus, and building a loyal customer base, Pearl West has become a thriving business that employs over 500 people and generates millions in revenue. 2023 will mark the opening of their 10th restaurant location in under 15 years across 3 states.
