Jonathon Connor

Jonathon is a Senior Vice President with the Colliers | Chicago Suburban Office Advisory Group, working on behalf of institutional and regional investors to develop value-creating leasing and investment strategies through the acquisition, marketing and disposition of office space throughout suburban Chicago. Jonathon also works with corporate office users to generate and implement creative real estate solutions that align with the business interests through cost reduction, management of occupancy risks, and maximization of flexibility and workplace efficiencies. Jonathon started his career in the Colliers Real Estate Management Services group, focusing on the management of industrial portfolios for institutional property owners. In 2009, he transitioned to the Distressed Asset Team, leading the management and leasing of a 3 million square-foot portfolio of troubled assets across the Midwest. This team was also engaged to work as court-appointed receivers, and established best practices for operating and leasing challenged real estate. This background in asset and property management provides Jonathon with a critical understanding of how commercial real estate leases are analyzed throughout the investment cycle, from acquisition and lease-up to disposition. Jonathon has successfully completed over 350 transactions valued at over $500 million.
