Jonathan Gould is a Co-Managing Member at Stonemar Properties and a co-founder of Stonemar Partners, the company's investment affiliate, and Stonemar Management, the company's property management affiliate. Mr. Gould has been involved in all phases of the company’s development since its inception in 2003 and is jointly responsible for all corporate decisions. Further, he leads all property management and leasing initiatives while also focusing on sourcing investment opportunities and developing and managing joint venture relationships. Mr. Gould has acquired more than $3 billion of real property during his 30-year career. Further, he has managed more than $50 million of construction, redevelopment, and capital improvement projects and negotiated hundreds of leases. Mr. Gould also has participated in a variety of complex land assemblages and several office and residential development projects in New York City. Of note, Mr. Gould spearheaded the $638 million acquisition of Prime Retail, Inc. (NASDAQ: PMRE), a publicly traded REIT with 36 outlet centers and 10 million square feet that was sold for $2.2 billion in 2010 to Simon Properties Group. From 1998 to 2001, he was a Senior Vice President at SL Green Realty Corporation (NYSE: SLG) where he was responsible for the REIT’s acquisitions, dispositions, and financing of more than $1.5 billion of commercial office and retail properties. From 1988 to 1998, Mr. Gould was a partner and Executive Vice President in charge of acquisitions and real estate at Icon Parking Systems, an owner-operator of parking facilities, commercial and multifamily properties, and development sites throughout New York City. During his tenure, he led the company through its principle expansion phase, growing its portfolio of parking assets from 52 to 115 locations. He also assisted in transforming Icon into the city’s largest private owner of parking facilities, and he positioned it for an eventual $275 million recapitalization with the Whitehall Fund, an affiliate of Goldman Sachs. Mr. Gould earned a B.A. from the Boston University School of Management and a J.D. from New York Law School. He was admitted to the New York and Connecticut Bars. Mr. Gould is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).
