John Simmons
CBRE North Florida Land Advisory and Transaction Services Group
John is a member of CBRE’s Land Advisory and Transaction Services group in Jacksonville, Florida. His real estate career began with CBRE in 2011 with the National Retail Partners in Atlanta. From there John worked in the asset management teams at both Jamestown LP, in its Atlanta and San Francisco offices, and at Starwood Capital Group in its San Francisco office. While at Starwood, John learned the land development business as the analyst in charge of analytics and reporting for Starwood’s vast land holdings, as well as its equity stake in the publicly traded homebuilder TriPointe Homes (NYSE: TPH). John is excited to be back in real estate in his hometown focusing on land, and is partnered with Jess Simmons, whose history with CBRE dates back to 1985.
