John Plank’s career began in 2004 when he entered active duty under the United States Air Force in the Security Forces career field. Reaching the rank of Staff Sergeant after six years and three overseas deployments under his belt, it was time to move back into the civilian life. Subsequently, John gained a degree in Criminal Justice, as well as a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration with a minor in finance from Columbia Southern University. During his schooling, John served as a 911 Emergency Dispatcher for the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office and a Firefighter/EMT with the City of Simpsonville Fire Department. Additionally, John also became involved with the County's Emergency Response Team as a Rescue & Recovery Diver, as well as a Swift Water Rescue Technician. John’s transition into the commercial real estate world is due to a strong family background in the industry, accompanied by an authentic passion. Outside of real estate development, John enjoys spending time with his wife and two boys, public service, and exploring the outdoors.
