John Morgan

John F. Morgan, Jr. is the Co-Founder, President, and Chief Executive Officer of SouthCoast Commercial, LLC, a real estate investment and asset management firm focused on the acquisition, ownership, and management of unanchored neighborhood retail centers throughout the Southeastern United States. He co-founded the company in 2010 and currently leads the firm's investment and operating activities. Prior to co-founding SouthCoast Commercial, LLC, John F. Morgan, Jr. developed single-family and multifamily residential communities across coastal South Carolina and Georgia. Earlier in his career, he worked with Asset Preservation Advisors, a municipal bond investment advisory firm, where he participated in the growth of assets under management from approximately $500 million to $1.8 billion. He is also a founder of the Carolinas Chapter of the Congress for the New Urbanism and has been active with the Urban Land Institute and the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).
