As a Director in Newmark’s Houston office, John Luck provides tenant representation services to select clients. Focusing on lease, purchase and built to suit transactions, Mr. Luck has built a strong track record of representing a vast range of clients within the oil and gas, engineering, healthcare and legal industries. He is known for his ability to develop creative economic structures and negotiate best in market lease terms while providing his clients the flexibility needed to adapt to business and industry changes. Mr. Luck joined Newmark in 2018, upon the firm’s acquisition of acclaimed tenant representation firm Jackson Cooksey, which he joined in 2012. Previously, he spent 12 years as a management consultant working with Fortune 500 companies in North America and Europe, where he built a strong foundation as a diligent multimarket portfolio manager. Mr. Luck’s depth of experience and broad range of market knowledge allows him to understand the unique characteristics of each assignment.
