John Henschel

John Henschel joined Newmark Knight Frank in 2015 as an executive managing director for the Washington metropolitan area focused on Northern Virginia. A consummate commercial real estate professional for nearly 28 years, he has completed approximately 20 million square feet of transactions on behalf of landlords and tenants. Prior to Newmark Knight Frank, Mr. Henschel was a senior director for Cushman & Wakefield for 20 years. Preceding his tenure at Cushman & Wakefield, Mr. Henschel served for five years as vice president for Cambridge Property Group, where he completed more than 3 million square feet of leasing and sales transactions and was responsible for the asset management of a 750,000-square-foot industrial and office portfolio. Mr. Henschel holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the College of William and Mary and a Bachelor of Science degree from Washington and Lee University. He is a licensed real estate salesperson and broker in the state of Maryland, Commonwealth of Virginia and District of Columbia.
