John Finegan

John Finegan joined The Boulos Company in 2020 and has worked on leases and sales of all sizes. Although a generalist, in recent years John has focused on complex transactions such as land sales to be developed into housing, obscure properties such as the former Unity College Campus, multifamily redevelopments such as 45 Forest Ave and 509 Forest Avenue in Portland, and office leasing. In addition to his brokerage work at Boulos, John is a workforce housing developer, with 48 townhomes currently under construction in Falmouth. He is also on the Board of MEREDA, Chairs the Local Issues Committee, and hosts several programs each year for the non-profit organization. John is a member of South Portland's Economic Development Committee. John is also a frequent contributor to local press outlets, writing about economic policymaking particularly as it relates to housing and real estate development. Prior to Boulos, John worked as a Regional Sales Manager in the defense industry covering Australia, New Zealand, and Northern Europe, with frequent travel to each region. John graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a dual major in Finance and Accounting. John was born in North Yarmouth, Maine, and attended high school at North Yarmouth Academy. He currently lives in South Portland with his wife, Elizabeth, and his daughter, Alice.
