John is well known for creating strategic asset management plans, including anchor tenant marketing, tenant cultivation and tenant retention programs. He founded Rainier Real Estate Partners in 2017 to establish a boutique platform for a more personalized and forward-thinking approach to commercial real estate services. His most recent role included leading the commercial property leasing and marketing functions for Golub & Company. He was involved in the firm’s acquisitions and dispositions programs, envisioning and implementing marketing and repositioning plans that maximize the value of investor real estate holdings, while minimizing the occupancy costs. His experience includes roles at J.F. McKinney & Associates, ORIX Real Estate Equities (and its predecessor, Rubloff) and LaSalle Partners. He earned a B. S. degree from Washington State University, and studied international business and economics at the University of Copenhagen.
