John Covington

John Covington is a resident of Lake Murray, SC. As a licensed Realtor®, his focus is residential properties and acreage on Lake Murray, as well as properties in Richland, Lexington, Newberry, and Orangeburg Counties. He also has experience with agricultural/timber land purchases and investment property.John grew up on a farm in the small town of Norway, SC where he learned the value of hard work and dedication. After receiving his degree in Finance from Francis Marion University, John moved to Columbia to begin a career with a national brand in construction equipment sales and rentals. John continued his training receiving certification from Midlands Technical College in Residential Contractor Business, Residential Building Codes, Residential Building Framing & Finishing, Residential Building Site Prep, and General Construction Safety. He advanced to Area Manager and was responsible for two dealerships which ranked number two in market share. During his career, John developed advanced skills in contract negotiation, teamwork, and time management.
