JOHN CAPLE

John is a Managing Partner of Hidden Harbor, chairs the firm’s Investment Committee and sets the overall strategic direction for the firm. John has over twenty years of private equity investment and operational experience driving complex business turnarounds and producing top tier investment returns. Prior to founding Hidden Harbor, John served as a Partner at Comvest Partners, where he was a leader in the firm’s equity fund, a member of the Executive Committee, and oversaw investments in U.S. Pipe, Sunteck Transportation Group, Innovative Hearth Products and Haggen. Prior to Comvest, John was an investment professional with H.I.G. Capital where he led several of the firm’s successful investments. John was also a strategy consultant at Bain & Company where he led strategy engagements for various Fortune 500 Companies and led due diligence assignments for some of the largest private equity funds in both the United States and Europe. John holds a B.A. in Economics from Stanford University and an M.B.A from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
