Mr. Burke joined Argentic in December 2014, establishing a Central US presence for the company. Previously, Mr. Burke spent 15 years at RBS including it’s predecessor Greenwich Capital in a variety of roles. Most recently, Mr. Burke had dual roles of Head of Originations for RBS’s CMBS originations team, as well as Head of the US CRE Portfolio Management & Restructuring for the Noncore Division. In the originations role, Mr. Burke built out and led the originations team following the re-establishment of RBS’s CMBS lending program in 2010; RBS originated in excess of $10 billion during his tenure. In the restructuring role, Mr. Burke led the team responsible for the successful exit of approximately $5 billion portfolio of legacy commercial positions in the US. Prior to joining Greenwich Capital, Mr Burke was an originator in Nomura Capital’s original CMBS lending group. Prior to Nomura, Mr. Burke worked as attorney in Kaye Scholer’s real estate group. Mr. Burke has an A.B. from Georgetown University’s College of Arts and Science and a J.D. from the Georgetown University Law Center.
