As a property manager serving on a team of 5 managers overseeing the needs of 1,000 residential and commercial units, there is rarely a dull moment and when there is, I am always ready for the next curve ball coming my way. A typical day for me includes coordinating maintenance, screening lease applicants, advertising apartments, supervising and supporting the leasing staff and administering residential and commercial leases. I do anything and everything required to keep the occupancy rate up (typically 99%) and ensure the residents and owners are satisfied.
