Joe Grody

JOE GRODY continues to build on more than 35 years of experience and expertise in representing the real estate interests of retail, restaurant and entertainment owners and operators, as well as developers, property owners and landlords. Joe brings valuable perspective to the particular challenges of retail and restaurant transactions. Earlier in his career, he was an owner and operator of several restaurants, as well as one of the largest national retail eyewear chains in the U.S. Accordingly, Joe understands the core businesses, space requirements and long-range goals of such tenants, and is in a unique position to negotiate real estate transactions that meet the unique needs of this industry, while satisfying the financial, tenant-mix, and other requirements of property owners. Joe has continually represented major tenants with the national rollout and expansions of their businesses. Joe represents restaurants and retailers throughout the Chicago metropolitan market, regionally and nationally and property owners throughout northern Illinois. Joe has been on the Board of Directors and is the Treasurer of the Food Service Professionals Network since 2009. He has been a member since 2001. Joe is also active with the International Council of Shopping Centers and is one of their restaurant and retail panel discussion group leaders.
