Joe Genest joined Marcus & Millichap in October 2019 after his previous brokerage firm was strategically acquired to secure a stronger foothold in the increasingly dynamic marketplace of British Columbia. Joe has been active in commercial real estate brokerage since graduating in 2010, from British Columbia Institute of Technology with a Diploma of Technology from the Marketing Management - Professional Real Estate Option. While specializing in retail properties, Joe focuses most of his time in advising his clients on the acquisition and disposition of single-tenant, net-leased assets throughout Western Canada. In addition to his net-leased business, Joe thrives in providing site selection services for owner-users, high quality tenants and commercial land developers. In his personal time, Joe enjoys spending time with his family and friends and taking advantage of the many outdoor activities British Columbia has to offer.
