Joe DeRoy

Joe DeRoy is responsible for the implementation and execution of the commercial mortgage group's commercial mortgage backed securities (CMBS) strategy including loan screening, structuring, pricing and securitization. Additional responsibilities include the coordination of loan contributions with CMBS issuers, relationship management with subordinate bond buyers and rating agencies and marketing and distribution of bonds through roadshows. Prior to the reemergence of the capital markets after the economic downturn, responsibilities included portfolio management of legacy CMBS bond portfolio, management of legacy loans and secondary market loan sales and development of commercial real estate origination and credit models.
