
A licensed Georgia real estate professional since 2013, Joanna currently serves as Commercial Director of Operations at Atlanta Commercial Real Estate Brokers, where she helped establish and now leads the firm’s commercial department. She oversees operational strategy, fosters industry partnerships, and advances commercial real estate initiatives. Joanna’s commercial real estate experience focuses on tenant representation and spans multiple asset classes, including municipal, retail, medical, industrial, and office properties. In her tenant representation role, she works closely with businesses, organizations, and municipalities to identify strategic locations, evaluate real estate opportunities, navigate lease and transaction considerations, and support clients throughout the site selection and occupancy process. Joanna is a member of Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW), a leading global organization dedicated to advancing women in commercial real estate, and sits on the CREW Foundation Committee, supporting initiatives that advance the organization’s mission and expand opportunities for women in the industry. She also brings more than 10 years of nonprofit leadership experience, having served as a Family Resource Center Director with the Children and Families Commission in California. In that role, she led grassroots initiatives connecting families with essential resources, support services, and community programs. A California native and military spouse of 21 years, she brings a unique perspective shaped by community engagement, adaptability, and a commitment to serving families and communities. She later served as Director of Business Development and Assistant to the President for the Georgia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, where she advanced entrepreneurship, supported small businesses, and strengthened business incubator initiatives. Her civic and professional leadership experience includes membership in the Rotary Club of Marietta, service on the Mableton Improvement Coalition Economic Development Committee, board membership on the Kennesaw State University CARE Program Advisory Council, and AGREE membership.
