In Commercial Real Estate, (CRE) Jim has focused on acquisition and disposition assets such as retail centers, multifamily, and land development sites for both. He has represented International and Domestic Investors, as well as Business Owners on sale-leaseback transactions, or build to suit. Proficient in commercial leasing for both landlords and tenants in office and retail situations. Since 2010, provided representation on over $200M of CRE transactions. Includes: representing high net-worth individuals, Seller's Agent of retail REO properties for Frost Bank, BBVA-Compass and financial institutions. National credit tenant experience with: Starbucks, Einstein's Bagel, Verizon, AT&T Wireless, and more. Additional areas of expertise include: Multi-Family (apartment) acquisition & disposition; and land for multifamily development or retail. Prior to commercial brokerage, he was Founding Partner in a real estate investment company which placed in the Top 25 of Austin Business' Journal from 2004-2007. His career has spanned the last 19 years operating companies & partnerships focused on real estate & finance.
