Jim Ablan is a principal of Beacon Realty Capital Services, LLC (BRCS) and Beacon Real Estate Investments, LLC (BREI). BRCS structures capital transactions and originates and places all types of debt and equity financing. Additionally, BRCS provides leasing and management services to BREI properties. BREI invests in income producing properties. Jim has a career in real estate that spans 50 years beginning with seven years in the real estate investment department at The Prudential Insurance Company of America with responsibilities including mortgage lending and property acquisitions, development and sales. In 1983 he joined a pension fund advisor responsible for acquiring income properties and in 1988 became an investment broker with a national brokerage firm. In 1993 he entered the mortgage banking business by forming a partnership that became Beacon Realty Capital, Inc. From 1993 through 2009 Beacon completed 656 transactions totaling in excess of $4.4 billion. Since 2009 Jim has operated the two principal companies that continue today. Jim is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin earning a BA in Economics and an MS in Urban Land Economics and Real Estate.
