Jessica Curtis
Jessica is the Founder and Principal at ORIGIN Realty Advisors.
A 21-year Real Estate Executive with a concerted focus on Lifestyle, Hospitality and Food & Beverage real estate. Ms. Curtis founded ORIGIN Realty Advisors in 2023 with a mission of elevating real estate services for best-in-class brands and developers. She previously served as CBRE’s U.S. Restaurant Practice Leader with a specialization in Emerging Brands. Having spent the last fifteen years traveling the U.S., she has a finger on the pulse of trends in design, operations and competitive portfolio strategies. In addition to significant landlord consulting assignments throughout her career for organizations like Rockefeller Group, RXR, Blackstone, SL Green, Nuveen and the like, Ms. Curtis has been integral in the strategic expansion of a number of restaurant and retail companies. She has lead the real estate initiative for Barteca Restaurants for over a decade, securing upwards of 65 locations for their two brands, Barcelona Wine Bar and Bartaco. Barteca was sold to DFRG, Inc. in 2018 for $325M and subsequently to L Catterton in 2019. Ms. Curtis continues to lead their real estate efforts. On the restaurant side, she has completed transactions with Shake Shack, Velvet Taco, Cava, Sixty Vines, Whiskey Cake, Mexican Sugar, Del Frisco’s, Hawkers, Little Beet, Melt Shop, Fields Good Chicken, Five Guys, Mexicue, Ruth’s Chris, Postino, Skiptown, Caffe Nero and Starbucks, as well as a number of notable and award-winning chefs. On the retail side, she has completed transactions with Saks Fifth Avenue, Frame, Rag & Bone, Wolford, Baccarat, Hudson Grace, Oka, Kerri Rosenthal, James Perse, Lacoste, Cos, Alexis Bittar, Sweaty Betty, Tend Dental, One Medical, Bond Vet, Wegman's, Target and more. In 2018, Ms. Curtis created the first Women’s Scholarship offered through the International Council of Shopping Centers in honor of her first mentor, Sheldon M. Gordon, a visionary developer who fostered her early career. She is deeply committed to bettering the outcomes for young professionals in the business and continues to challenge the traditional brokerage models. Jessica enjoys entertaining, shopping the farmers’ market, the occasional ballet class, hotel hopping, piano lessons and summer days and nights in the Adirondacks and Catskills of Upstate NY with her husband and sons.
