Jennifer Davis is the founder of Domicile Real Estate Brokerage. The focus of Jennifer's representation is on both commercial and residential properties located on Charleston's Historic Peninsula. Investors worldwide profit from Jennifer’s vast property investment experience and sound relationships with lending institutions, attorneys and zoning boards. An avid researcher, Jennifer approaches both residential and commercial real estate with a keen analytical eye and is studied in pairing the right investor with the right property at the right time. Prior to founding Domicile, Jennifer spent 15 years as the general partner for Ibis, Inc., a historic real estate development partnership which she co-founded. During her tenure with Ibis, she purchased, restored and marketed more than 20 historic properties gaining experience and insight working with banks, municipal review boards, zoning boards and historic foundations. Under Jennifer’s stewardship, Ibis won the prestigious South Carolina Honor Award for Historic Preservation and her projects were featured in magazines such as House Beautiful, The New York Times and Home Style. Jennifer’s passion for Charleston and desire to protect and preserve it led to her participation as a board member of non-profit organizations, including The S.C. Coastal Conservation League, The Palmetto Conservation Foundation and the Historic Beaufort Foundation. Jennifer is a mother of four and is an author of three children’s books which have been published in five languages. She has completed national book tours which included appearances on The Today Show and NPR in support of her books. Jennifer lives in an 1840’s Charleston single house in the center of the downtown historic district.
