Jeff Nemec

Jeff Nemec joined Northwood Retail in 2012 and serves as Senior Vice President of Operations. In this role, Jeff implements best-in-class management practices and oversees the property management team across Northwood Retail’s portfolio. With 20 years of industry experience, he has worked on significant projects such as Southlands and Tabor Center in Denver, Colorado and 900 North Michigan Avenue in Chicago, Illinois. Prior to joining Northwood Retail, he held leadership roles at Forest City Realty Trust, CB Richard Ellis, Equity Office, and Urban Retail Properties. Mr. Nemec is a Certified Shopping Center Manager with the International Council of Shopping Centers, Accredited Commercial Manager with the Institute of Real Estate Management, and LEED-AP accredited with the U.S. Green Building Council. He has previously served on the board of directors for the Aurora Business Advisory Board and Visit Aurora. Mr. Nemec graduated with honors from the University of Illinois College of Commerce and Business Administration with a BA in Finance.
