Jay Ruf joined First Scout in 2002, after seven years at another leading Kansas City full service commercial real estate service firm. While at his former employer, Jay was recognized as “Rookie of the Year” and received The Silver Award as the firm’s second largest producer in 2001. Jay was also recognized for completing the largest transaction in company history and has completed over $35 million in total transactions. Jay specializes in tenant representation services for large local office and industrial clients as well as regional and national portfolio clients. Jay has successfully guided Burns & McDonnell Engineers with strategies and project implementation in Kansas City and throughout the U.S. Jay received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree and his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from The University of Kansas in 1995.
