Jay is responsible for portfolio strategy, transaction management, strategic consulting, new business development and financial analytics for clients on a regional, national and international basis. Jay focuses on office, industrial and retail product while specializing in new leases, renewals, restructures and acquisitions and dispositions of real estate. Since joining the firm, Jay has completed transactions for a vast array of office and industrial space users in the healthcare, nonprofit, pharmaceutical, law, design and engineering, food production and general business services sectors. Jay’s experience across a variety of business segments has promoted the innovation of cutting edge strategies and analytical tools which are then customized for each assignment to aid his clients in identifying and executing the most appropriate real estate strategy for their short and long term business needs. Jay began his career as a leasing representative for Liberty Property Trust where he was responsible for leasing Liberty’s two million square foot South Florida portfolio. Jay has since leveraged that experience and understanding of what makes landlords tick, recognizing their drivers and weak spots, and identifying their capital needs and overall financial strength to pinpoint weakness, identify problem situations and in turn capture value for his clients.
