ABOUT

Jason began his retail leasing career in New York City in 2001. Since then, he has completed retail transactions throughout the New York City metro market with a diverse mix of local boutiques, restaurants, fitness, educational, and medical along with larger regional and international anchor retailers. He has represented tenants from earliest planning stage through multiple unit expansion. He completed the first ever retail locations for Peleton, Rumble, Hill Country as well as the first Brooklyn Sephora, Kith, Pure Barre, Mimi Chengs, 2nd Street, Tend Dental and Specialized Bicycles. Recently, Jason and Alex relocated Barnes and Noble in Cobble Hill, inked deals with LIDL and CVS preconstruction in Park Slope, 54 D in Chelsea, and several local restaurants and cafes in Harlem. Additionally, Jason has been influential in helping the growth of retail, restaurant and culture corridors of Madison Square Park, Lower East Side, West Village, East Village, Meatpacking, Harlem, and throughout Brooklyn. Jason has relocated several gallerists from Chelsea to the Lower East side, then later, consulted with a collective of gallery owners as they explored Harlem and Mott Haven. Landlord representation includes Steiner NYC, William Maclowe Companies, Gazit, Gotham, Grid, RXR, United American Land, L&M, Ray, PRD Realty, Rose Associates, Benenson, Gottlieb Estate, Brodsky, Greenland plus many local families with a few assets. In multiple instances, after successful lease up of the retail spaces, Jason has then consulted on the sale of retail condos and buildings throughout the city. As a tenant representative, he works with Specialized Bicycles, Just Salad, Havana Central, Hill Country, Bob’s, and Barcade.
