Jason Berrett

Jason W. Berrett was raised on a family farm in Nyssa, OR on the far west side of the Treasure Valley. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Brigham Young University's acclaimed accounting program. He started his business with just a card table and a laptop in the basement of the home of an elderly lady he and his wife were housesitting. He has grown his accounting practice over the last two decades and now employs a team of four professionals. His practice serves a myriad of clients in the areas of tax preparation, tax planning, payroll services, bookkeeping services, and financial planning. Jason is an Enrolled Agent, a special designation the IRS has for practitioners. This designation emphasizes tax law and individual, business, and estate tax preparation with a special focus on retirement plans and ethics. As an Enrolled Agent, Jason can practice and represent taxpayers before the IRS and in all 50 states, which is uncommon for CPAs. In addition, he spends countless hours studying tax laws and implementing solutions customized to each of his client's needs. Jason loves the work he does and especially enjoys the relationships he develops with clients over the years as he sees their families, careers and businesses grow. He loves to give his clients peace of mind and confidence that their accounting and finances are in good order. Most important to Jason is his wife and two children. He is actively involved in his church and enjoys spending time with his family participating in youth sports, particularly soccer and ninja warrior. He also loves spending time in the great outdoors, painting, baking, and playing board and card games.
