Jason Augustine
I graduated from the University of Iowa with a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2002 and received my Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from there in 2004. After graduating from the University of Iowa, I moved to Ankeny and have been practicing physical therapy here for 10 years, the last 7 with Physiotherapy Associates. I have a special interest in treating spine conditions and am currently pursuing my certification as a Spine Manual Therapist with the International Spine and Pain Institute. I also enjoy treating sports medicine injuries and have extensive experience in Industrial Rehabilitation, performing Functional Capacity Evaluations, Work Conditioning programs, and Pre-Employment Screens. My treatment philosophy for patient care is using my evaluation skills to identify the underlying causes of musculoskeletal disorders and utilizing manual therapy and corrective exercise to treat these in the most efficient manner possible. I use an evidence based rationale with this and am always looking at new ways to advance myself as a clinician.
