Matthew Ryan

Biography Matt has over twenty-nine years of experience specializing in industrial sales and leasing in the Baltimore-Washington Corridor. Formerly an active principal with Casey Oncor, he was responsible for the industrial leasing department, as well as an active principal in the management of the company. Prior to joining Casey, Matt was associated with CB Commercial in Baltimore, as a First Vice President and was the top industrial leasing broker and top performing Broker in the Baltimore office for eight years. In March of 1997, Matt formed Ryan Commercial Real Estate Services and acted as President. The Firm is located in Columbia, MD with a second office in Towson, MD. The firms primary focus in the sale, leasing and development of industrial, office and flex real estate for institutional landlords in the Baltimore and Baltimore-Washington Corridor. In addition to Brokerage, Matt is President of Ryan Development LLC. The Team has participated and developed in excess of 5,000,000 SF of distribution space and 1,500,000 SF of office and Flex space in MD and Virginia markets. Ryan acts as a principal in these developments often forming partnerships with Northwestern Mutual Life, PRU and other local developers. Ryan has recently completed a 160,000 SF spec office building in the Baltimore Washington Corridor and is currently constructing a 700,000 SF spec Distribution building in the Northern Baltimore market place. Education Matt is a graduate of Mount St. Mary's College in Emmittsburg, Maryland. Affiliations Matt is active in NAIOP and currently a candidate for the Nation Board of Directors. Recent Transactions •During his career, Matt has sold or leased over 25,000,000 square feet of industrial space and 1,000 acres of ground with a value in excess of $250,000,000.
