Janet’s professional journey is closely tied to the legacy of CENTURY 21 American Heritage Realty, originally established as the Lasher Agency in 1918. The firm began as a small real estate and insurance company serving the Alle-Kiski Valley with a commitment to lifelong client relationships. In 1980, the company joined the CENTURY 21 network, the same year Janet obtained her real estate license. In 1985, Janet joined the agency as Broker/Manager, marking the beginning of a period of significant growth. Under her leadership, the then CENTURY 21 Stein-Lasher Agency achieved record-setting sales. She purchased the business in 1992 and guided its transformation from a small neighborhood office into a regional firm with more than 70 agents across three locations, while maintaining its strong foundation of personalized service. Her industry achievements include being named REALTOR® of the Year for the Greater Allegheny Kiski Area, serving as President of the Board of REALTORS® for the same region, and being recognized in 2000 by Governor Tom Ridge as one of Pennsylvania’s “Best 50” top businesswomen.
